Velvet Bramble is a small, independent business based in the UK, founded from a genuine love of knitting, crochet, spinning and making things by hand.

I started VelvetBramble because I wanted to bring together beautiful yarns, fibres, tools and accessories that I'd be happy to use in my own projects. Whether it's a special skein of yarn, a set of stitch markers or a favourite pair of needles, I believe good tools make crafting even more enjoyable.

Alongside the shop, I'm also beginning to design my own knitting and crochet patterns. It's something I've wanted to do for a long time, and I'm excited to be gradually growing that side of the business.

Sustainability is important to me too. Wherever possible, I use recyclable packaging, and even small items like sterling silver stitch markers are protected in PH-neutral glassine bags instead of plastic.
