Fable Brushed Aran by West Yorkshire Spinners is a softly brushed aran-weight yarn with a gentle, airy finish and a natural feel.

Made from a blend of British wool, alpaca, and mohair, the fibres are brushed to lift the surface and create a soft halo.

Unlike traditional mohair yarns that are often held alongside another strand, the mohair here is already blended and brushed into the yarn — giving you that effect in a single strand.

The colour palette is inspired by nature, with earthy, timeless shades suited to garments and accessories you’ll reach for again and again.

Best suited to simple stitches and clean silhouettes, where the soft, brushed texture can take centre stage.
